Q: How can I get the latest version of the module I purchased?


To access the latest version of the module, ensure you have an active Support & Updates Plan. If your plan has expired, you can renew it in the Downloadable Products section of your WeltPixel account. If your plan is active but you can't access the update, it may be due to the phased rollout of updates. Check back later to see if the latest version is available.

Extension Issues After Upgrades


Q: What should I do if I encounter critical issues after upgrading a WeltPixel module?


If you encounter critical issues after upgrading your WeltPixel module, follow these steps:


  1. Verify that the module was installed correctly and that no files were modified

  • php bin/magento indexer:reindex

Pearl Theme Compatibility


Q: Is the Pearl Theme compatible with 3rd party extensions, including those on the Adobe Commerce Marketplace?


The Pearl Theme has a high degree of compatibility with third-party extensions as it is built upon the Luma Theme. However, we cannot guarantee compatibility with all third-party functionalities. Generally, it should work with most extensions, and the theme comes bundled with over 25 of our own extensions that cover many common needs for Magento 2 projects.


Multi-domain Tracking


Q: Can we use the product on multiple frontend domains or do we need extra licenses?


If you are running a multi-store or multi-website environment on the same Magento instance, you only need to license the shared backend domain. The product will work on all associated frontend URLs, so you do not need extra licenses for the additional domains.

Testing Environment Setup


Q: How can I test changes in your extension settings on dev sites?


You can test changes in the extension settings on your dev sites by using the same license key as your production site. According to the licensing policy, WeltPixel products can be installed on any number of sub-domains of the licensed domain for testing purposes, including domains with terminations such as .local, .dev, .development, .staging, .stage, etc. If your dev site is a sub-domain of your main licensed domain, you do not need to add it as an extra domain. If you are using a temporary domain, you can license it directly or use a sub-domain of your licensed domain instead.


Sample Data Import


Q: How can I import blocks and pages after installing the WeltPixel theme?


To import blocks and pages after installing the WeltPixel theme, you should check if the Sample Data module is enabled. You can enable it by using the command: php bin/magento module:enable WeltPixel_SampleData --clear-static-content. After enabling, you should be able to see the demo pages in Admin > Content > Pages. If you still face issues, please contact support with your admin URL and credentials for further assistance.

AJAX Functionality

Currently, AJAX functionality is not available on CMS pages, including the Home Page, in Magento 2. It is only available on Category and Product Pages. If this is a feature you would like to see implemented, you can submit a feature request or consider custom development options.

GA4 Compatibility


Q: Is the Google Analytics 4 extension compatible with Magento ver. 2.3.x?


Yes, the Google Analytics 4 extension is compatible with Magento ver. 2.3.x. However, we recommend updating your Magento instance to version 2.4.x, as 2.3.x versions are no longer supported by Magento.

Q: How can I disable the WeltPixel Data Layer for GA4 Events?


To disable the WeltPixel Data Layer for GA4 Events, you can enable the setting to 'Automatically disable data layer for enabled measurement protocol events' within the WeltPixel extension. This setting is designed to prevent duplicate tracking by ensuring that events aren't sent through both the WeltPixel extension and the data layer. If you're unsure about the impact, it's recommended to test it in a staging environment before applying changes to your live site.


License Renewal


Q: Is the purchase of Pearl final, or do I have to renew the license every year?


The purchase of Pearl is a one-time payment that includes one year of support and updates. After the first year, you will need to extend your support to continue receiving updates.


Customer Privacy


Q: What happens if a customer has not allowed tracking?


If a customer has not allowed tracking, their information will be processed in an anonymous session. This means that while we will not have access to identifiable data, we can still gather aggregate data about user behavior on our site. This helps us improve our services without compromising customer privacy.


GA4 Version Upgrade


Q: Is there a discount or a way to upgrade from the standard version of GA4 to the PRO version?


Currently, there isn't an official upgrade process from the standard version of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to the PRO version. However, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
