# How to change category layout in Magento 2 ?

Changing the category layout in Magento 2 is simple and can be done directly from the Admin panel.

### Steps to Change Category Layout

1. In the Admin sidebar, go to **Products -> Categories**.  
2. Select the category you want to edit.  
3. Open the **Design** tab.  
4. Choose the desired option from the **Layout** dropdown.

### Apply Layout to All Subcategories  

If you want the layout to apply to all subcategories:  

* Make sure **Use Parent Category Settings** is enabled for each subcategory.  
* On the parent category, select the desired **Layout**. This will be automatically inherited by all subcategories.

### Final Step  

After making changes:  

* Refresh the frontend to see the updates.  
* If necessary, clear all Magento caches from **System -> Cache Management**.
