# How to use composer and install Pearl Theme or other WeltPixel extensions

Starting with version 1.16.0, Composer is the official installation method for all WeltPixel products, including the Pearl Theme, the Google Analytics 4 integration and all other extensions. Products and updates are no longer provided as zip files, and you no longer need to create your own repositories. Composer access is included with your purchase.

## How to enable Composer access

1. Log in to your customer account at [account.weltpixel.com](https://account.weltpixel.com/login/).
2. Go to **My Products** using the navigation menu on the left.
3. Find your product and click **Enable Composer**. The page will refresh.
4. Your Composer Configuration Commands appear at the top of the page.
5. Run these commands in the root of your Magento 2 project.

For example, the install command for the Google Analytics 4 PRO extension is:

```
composer require weltpixel/module-ga4-pro
```

The exact commands for your products are always the ones shown in your account.

## After installation

Run the standard Magento setup commands:

```
bin/magento setup:upgrade
bin/magento setup:di:compile
bin/magento cache:flush
```

## Already installed manually?

If your WeltPixel product is currently installed in `app/code/WeltPixel` (manual or SSH installation), remove the old files before running any `composer require` command. Otherwise Magento finds two copies of the same module and fails during `setup:upgrade` or `setup:di:compile`. The full walkthrough is here: [Migrating from manual SSH installation to Composer Installation](https://help.weltpixel.com/en/article/migrating-from-manual-ssh-installation-to-composer-installation-18p282d/).

**Note:** perform the installation on a development or staging environment first, and make sure you have a backup before deploying to production.
