How to change category layout in Magento 2 ?

Changing the category layout in Magento 2 is simple and can be done directly from the Admin panel.

Steps to Change Category Layout

1. In the Admin sidebar, go to Products -> Categories.
2. Select the category you want to edit.
3. Open the Design tab.
4. Choose the desired option from the Layout dropdown.

Apply Layout to All Subcategories

If you want the layout to apply to all subcategories:

• Make sure Use Parent Category Settings is enabled for each subcategory.
• On the parent category, select the desired Layout. This will be automatically inherited by all subcategories.

Final Step

After making changes:

• Refresh the frontend to see the updates.
• If necessary, clear all Magento caches from System -> Cache Management.
