How to mark the backend important updates pop-up / notification as read

Mark admin announcement pop‑ups as read to stop them from reappearing until a new message arrives.

Step 1 — Close the current pop‑up

Step 2 — View all messages

From the Dashboard, click See All Messages.

Step 3 — Mark the message as read

On the messages grid, select the message and choose Mark as Read.

Notes

• Avoid disabling all notifications: You can disable the native Magento_AdminNotification module, but this is not recommended because you will miss important Magento security and platform notices.
• Disable only WeltPixel notices (optional): Starting with version 1.7.1 (July 12, 2018) you can turn off only WeltPixel product notifications while keeping Magento’s core alerts enabled.
• Go to Stores → Configuration → WeltPixel → Developer → Notifications and toggle the setting as needed.
