How to redirect to Shopping Cart Page after adding a product to the cart

Magento has a built-in setting that lets you redirect customers straight to the Shopping Cart page after they add a product. This option disables the Ajax Add to Cart feature, ensuring users land in the cart immediately.

How to enable the redirect:

In the Admin Panel, go to:

Stores → Configuration → Sales → Checkout → Shopping Cart

Find the setting After Adding a Product Redirect to Shopping Cart and set it to Yes.

Click Save Config and flush the Magento Cache.

Test on the frontend to confirm that customers are redirected to the Shopping Cart after adding a product.

Note:

If you are using the WeltPixel Quick Cart extension and notice users being redirected to the Shopping Cart instead of using Ajax Add to Cart + Mini Cart, check this setting. To use Ajax functionality, set the option to No.
